Many things~
Many things wait me to do. And the big exams are comming! It is the time that I have to focus on what I should do. Studying is the most imortant duty of students. As a resault, I am bound to make my mind up to study hard! Being a student, this is the most basical thing I should do! I wish that with my hard working in studying, I will get nice grades in these comming tests!!!
Myopia
The situation of nearsightedness in Taiwan has become worse and worse. With the fast progress of technology in Taiwan, more and more people become nearsighted.
It is really inconvenient when becoming nearsighted.
Recently, computers and televisions have become the common things in everyone’s home. In this way, the time people spend in using computers and watching
TV has become longer and longer. And it was just a reason why I got nearsighted. In the environment, it is hard to let our eyes relax enough so that more and more people become nearsighted.
In addition, in Taiwan, many parents want their children to study hard to get high grades. Take myself for example, my parents used to ask me to study hard. Therefore, I spent a lot of time studying without relaxing finally I became nearsighted when I was in junior high.
There are a lot of defects in myopia. For example, after becoming nearsighted, many in convenient things happen just like, I can no longer see distant objectives clearly, and I feel so uncomfortable because my eyes become tired much easier than before, and it is really a big trouble while my glasses are broken or lost, and so on. Not until I became nearsighted did I truly realized how important keeping a pair oh healthy eyes is.
To improve the bad situation in Taiwan, we are bound to do hard work in helping other people. We have to make others know the importance of the window of our soul, “eyes.” To protect our eyes, we should not spend too much time in front of computers, televisions, books, etc. On the contrary, what we should do is have enough time letting our eyes relaxed.
Eyes do play an indispensable role in one’s life. The importance of eyes can never be overemphasized. Because of the poor situation of myopia in Taiwan, all of us have to improve this as possible as we can.

My name is James, which was named by my father when I was in junior high. I love this name very much and I am proud of it. I like that “James” becomes my nick name. Without doubt, James is a very beautiful name. Besides, I also regard James a powerful name. Every moment when I feel gloomy, I will shout James in my mind and I will feel better. Also, James is everywhere, even on the desktop of my computer!! How amazing this name is. In our dormitory, all of my roommates’ desktop have been occupied by the name of James. How powerful the name of James is can be seen by the little affair. Ha, today is also James’s birthday! Happy birthday to you James! Everybody loves James and will give James a birthday celebration today, which will makes me never forget. Friends love me and call me GOD because I am excellent at sport. Every kind of sport has no questions and no difficulty with me. This is why everyone adores me and gives me this nickname GOD. There is no one live in the world without friends. In other word, all people need friends. Friends who you can rely on when you are in trouble are very important. English and Globalization 3
Everyone knows that English is an indispensible tool to improve globalization. Without doubt, English is the international language. As a result, to learn English well is a very important thing. Take me for example, everyone knows that my English is very poor. Once I took a trip to America with my father. Because of my poor English, all the things, like buying food, purchasing some clothes, borrowing something, asking some questions, and so on, are all depend on my father. I just could do nothing but wait Dad to deal with those problems we met. When facing foreigners, I just could say something like, “hello”, “hi”, ”well”, “good morning”, ”james”, etc. I could not even say more. Additionally, few weeks ago, I joined the GEPT High-Intermediate, of course, I failed and there is still a big distance for my testing grades to pass the exam. With these bad experiences, I deeply realized how poor my English ability is. After then I felt so depressed and now I make my mind to study English hard. Even though there are still a lot of difficulties waiting for me to overcome, I would never give up. For the purpose of keeping up with the trend of globalization, I have to study harder and harder! English and Globalization
In the trend towards globalization, English turns into an indispensible tool for communication. How to learn English well thus becomes an important lesson for us. First of all, we have to develop our English listening ability and get familiar with English. Second, we need to practice our speaking ability. For example, you can talk to your classmates in English or discuss the problems of English learning with them. Third, we can start to write in English in order to learn the sentence structures and organization of an essay. Fourth, we can read some books concerned with English learning. Fifth, singing English songs and watching TV shows and movies with English subtitle can also promote your English. To be in short, using five tips mentioned above, we can all learn English well and keep up with the trend of globalization.

Forrest Gump
I read the book that is written by Winston Groom, Forrest Gump. The reason why I chose this book was that I love to read the story of people.
Forrest Gump is a very special person. Although he is not very clever, he has many good lucks to help him achieve the goal. He did many things without purposes, but he just always did the right things in right ways. He knew that it was his life. He accepted his life and lived with his own style.
I think that Forrest Gump is a nice guy. His works may be beyond many ordinary people. I really love his insistence. No fear, much bravery. We should learn his spirit toward life. Be honest and be happy to our life.
Gump is a nice person that I respect very much. I know that I can’t do all the things he had done, but maybe I can’t learn his spirit toward life. Every thing may not be so serious, and it is just what we consider the thing in such the way we consider. We can take it easy in our life, even though there are many frustrations in our daily life. In the past, I always saw the dark side of the frustrations. But now, I will think much deeper and not let the frustration affect my daily life so much. I think that was the story that inspire me to consider the thing in the right way.
“Maybe I am an idiot,” I said, “but I’m not stupid.” That is the sentence I love the most in this book. I firmly agree this sentence, because this sentence presents the spirit of idiot, not really an idiot.

Today
I finish reading the book, Forrest Gump. I read it because I saw its movie and then I like it very much. I have learned many things from it. It is really a good book that is worth reading. If you have not read the book yet, then I suggest that you should try it!

I have known that my English is very poor for a long time, but I just can do nothing but blame my bad attitude and admire others whose English are very well. English
In my opinion, English is very interesting. Actually, English is my favorite subject. Moreover, I love to talk with aliens.
It's in my junior high that I touch English at the first time in my life. At first, I hate learning it because I never saw it before. Being afraid of what I never contact, I seldom study it. But for my strong stress of my parents, I could not but start studying English in order to get good grades. Not until I studied English did I realize how important and fun it is. English is very useful all the world since it is the major language in the world now. Wanting to succeed in the society now, having good English ability is undispensable at all. As a result, I learn it not only for grade but also for my fortune.
I really should be appreciated to who taught me English. Miss Lin, my junior high English teacher and my favorite teacher, too, lightened my life. Before meeting her, I had no idea what I should do and I thought it’s wasting time to learn English. Thank to Miss Lin, I did find the destination in my life. To make my dream come true, I followed her tips and began to fall in love with English. English is not just a subject but an important thing to me. To sum up, the importance of English can never be overemphasized!
