Many things~

Many things wait me to do. And the big exams are comming! It is the time that I have to focus on what I should do. Studying is the most imortant duty of students. As a resault, I am bound to make my mind up to study hard! Being a student, this is the most basical thing I should do! I wish that with my hard working in studying, I will get nice grades in these comming tests!!!

Myopia

The situation of nearsightedness in Taiwan has become worse and worse. With the fast progress of technology in Taiwan, more and more people become nearsighted.
It is really inconvenient when becoming nearsighted.
Recently, computers and televisions have become the common things in everyone’s home. In this way, the time people spend in using computers and watching
TV has become longer and longer. And it was just a reason why I got nearsighted. In the environment, it is hard to let our eyes relax enough so that more and more people become nearsighted.
In addition, in Taiwan, many parents want their children to study hard to get high grades. Take myself for example, my parents used to ask me to study hard. Therefore, I spent a lot of time studying without relaxing finally I became nearsighted when I was in junior high.
There are a lot of defects in myopia. For example, after becoming nearsighted, many in convenient things happen just like, I can no longer see distant objectives clearly, and I feel so uncomfortable because my eyes become tired much easier than before, and it is really a big trouble while my glasses are broken or lost, and so on. Not until I became nearsighted did I truly realized how important keeping a pair oh healthy eyes is.
To improve the bad situation in Taiwan, we are bound to do hard work in helping other people. We have to make others know the importance of the window of our soul, “eyes.” To protect our eyes, we should not spend too much time in front of computers, televisions, books, etc. On the contrary, what we should do is have enough time letting our eyes relaxed.
Eyes do play an indispensable role in one’s life. The importance of eyes can never be overemphasized. Because of the poor situation of myopia in Taiwan, all of us have to improve this as possible as we can.

My name is James, which was named by my father when I was in junior high. I love this name very much and I am proud of it. I like that “James” becomes my nick name. Without doubt, James is a very beautiful name. Besides, I also regard James a powerful name. Every moment when I feel gloomy, I will shout James in my mind and I will feel better. Also, James is everywhere, even on the desktop of my computer!! How amazing this name is. In our dormitory, all of my roommates’ desktop have been occupied by the name of James. How powerful the name of James is can be seen by the little affair. Ha, today is also James’s birthday! Happy birthday to you James! Everybody loves James and will give James a birthday celebration today, which will makes me never forget. Friends love me and call me GOD because I am excellent at sport. Every kind of sport has no questions and no difficulty with me. This is why everyone adores me and gives me this nickname GOD. From now on I will do my best on everything and love all the people, including my girlfriend, BOBO. Because God is everything.

There is no one live in the world without friends. In other word, all people need friends. Friends who you can rely on when you are in trouble are very important. As a result, all of us are bound to learn how to get along with others well. However, our customs are different from country to country. So we need to know other countries’ culture so that we can make foreign friends.
Custom varies from places to places, and even few miles can make big difference. For example, friendship is in need of awareness of the others’ intellect, temperament, and particular interests in French. And in Germany, friendship is a matter of mutual feeling. In Taiwan, in my opinion, it is very important to respect others.I think being internationalized is inevitable for everyone. Therefore, all of us have to try our best to learn different cultures, not only America, English, but also other poor countries such as those in Africa. By doing that, we can make much more friends in other places. But there is a indispensable thing …”English.” To finish what I say, we have to learn English very well. The importance of English can never be overemphasized!

English and Globalization 3

Everyone knows that English is an indispensible tool to improve globalization. Without doubt, English is the international language. As a result, to learn English well is a very important thing. Take me for example, everyone knows that my English is very poor. Once I took a trip to America with my father. Because of my poor English, all the things, like buying food, purchasing some clothes, borrowing something, asking some questions, and so on, are all depend on my father. I just could do nothing but wait Dad to deal with those problems we met. When facing foreigners, I just could say something like, “hello”, “hi”, ”well”, “good morning”, ”james”, etc. I could not even say more. Additionally, few weeks ago, I joined the GEPT High-Intermediate, of course, I failed and there is still a big distance for my testing grades to pass the exam. With these bad experiences, I deeply realized how poor my English ability is. After then I felt so depressed and now I make my mind to study English hard. Even though there are still a lot of difficulties waiting for me to overcome, I would never give up. For the purpose of keeping up with the trend of globalization, I have to study harder and harder! I wish and I believe in the nearly future, with my hard working in English, I can communicate with foreigners fluently so that I can keep up with the trend of globalization!
